On August 17, Philip Morris Japan (PMJ) announced the new IQOS ILUMA heat-not-burn tobacco device and the TEREA stick for IQOS ILUMA.

IQOS ILUMA will be available in two versions: IQOS ILUMA PRIME and IQOS ILUMA.

IQOS ILUMA PRIME is a flagship model, having design that combines aluminum and a wrap cover for the main body. The body is available in 4 colors and can be customized with a wide range of accessories such as wrap covers and ring sets.

IQOS ILUMA is a standart model following the design of the conventional IQOS 3 DUO, with the main body available in 5 colors, and it can be customized with accessories such as ring sets and door covers.

The heating method adopts the series' original Smart Core Induction System, which is the first bladeless structure in IQOS history.

But as usual heating tobacco leaves from the inside of the new designed Terea heatsticks. This heats the tobacco leaves from the core without burning, leaving no residue, no cleaning required, and no fire or smoke.

IQOS Iluma Prime and IQOS Iluma will be available for pre-order from the second half of August. Delivery will start in September.
